Every little girl's dream!

 

 TEAM MMC got in the Holiday spirit in a BIG way! Allyssa and Ashley were on a mission to find Kaila Loera a new show horse. Our requirements were hefty and not many horses fit all of our needs. Until we found this one. One of the most famous Half Arabian geldings in the country, RO ATLANTIS+//. An impressive list of National, Regional and Scottsdale wins and better yet, shown by a youth! He was perfect!

We began planning the deal all the while trying to keep it secret from Kaila. When it became official, we began to work out the details and he was scheduled to arrive at the MMC on the 20th. With our first annual Christmas party planned, we knew this would be the perfect opportunity to surprise Kaila with her new horse.

The party was a hit! Fabian worked the grill and our guests enjoyed one of the best tri-tips ever with bacon wrapped grilled shrimp! Drinks were flowing at the Azul bar! Trish kept the martinis coming and even surprised everyone with a Trish Baird original Martini! It was wonderful and there wasn’t a dry glass in the room! The kids got to enjoy hot chocolate and sparkling cider! A good time was had by all!

On the big day, our team and friends worked to help make this happen. And finally it was time for the announcement. In a big red bow, his National roses and a gift tag, he came walking down the barn aisle looking like the superstar he is. We had a magazine with his photo in it and Ashley pointed to the photo then pointed to this extremely handsome horse walking toward them and asked Kaila if that was the same horse. Kaila did a double take and said she thought it was. As we got closer, we had her look at the gift tag attatched to his bow…it read” To Kaila, love Santa”  We couldn’t keep the smile off her face! This gorgeous horse was her's! Wow! We turned him out for everyone and he put on a show, snorting and blowing then came right back down and let Kaila walk and trot him and even set him up! We knew instantly what a great match these two were.

A Christmas memory for a lifetime!  Kaila’s loving and supportive parents went above and beyond to make this happen and we are thank them for trusting us in helping find their little girl her dream horse! Here’s to 2009!
